چکیده

Rear-end crashes are one of the leading types today. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) was designed to assist drivers during emergency situations by preventing wheel lock up, allowing retain control vehicle. Not all have knowledge and experience with ABS, especially haptic brake pedal feedback produced ABS. There studies introduce a new method train ABS using an task on simulator interactive exercise, Pedals Emergency Stop©. exercise prompt participants press in motion that is consistent feedback. Participants depressed quickly maximum travel held position “passed” trial. In Study 1, (N = 63) completed 15 trials, where it took average three trials “pass” for first time, 85% experienced their within four trials. were no differences observed between previous feeling versus those who did not prior this study thought they had enough practical tool, recommended refresher training, as well evaluating fitness drive. Suggested improvements included practice followed tests, each; passing criteria out trials; modifications presented immediately after completing each trail. 2 conducted 38) investigate proposed “passing” criteria, 95% passed Test 1. results revealed pass reasonable. Future research should examine how Stop© generalizes on-road driving.

A Novel Anti-Lock Braking System for Electric Vehicles

Abstract: Recently, design of electric scooters (ESs) has commonly adopted brushless DC motors (BLDCMs) in place of brushed DC motors. This invention develops a new anti-lock braking system (ABS), based on a slip-ratio estimator, for ES utilizing the braking force generated by the BLDCM when electrical energy releases to the load yielding an analogous effect of ABS control in gas-engine vehicle...

Design of an anti-lock regenerative braking system for a series hybrid electric vehicle

In this paper, an adaptive rule based controller for an anti-lock regenerative braking system (ARBS) of a series hybrid electric bus (SHEB) has been proposed. The proposed controller integrates the regenerative braking and wheel anti-lock functions by controlling the electric motor of the hybrid vehicle, without using any conventional mechanical anti-lock braking system. The performance of the ...

Hydraulic anti-lock, anti-skid braking system using fuzzy controller

To maintain the stability trajectory of vehicles under critical driving conditions, anti lock-anti skid controllers, consisting of four anti-lock sub-controllers for each wheel and two anti-skid sub-controllers for left and right pair wheels have been separately designed. Wheel and body systems have been simulated with seven degrees of freedom to evaluate the proper functioning of controllers. ...

Hybrid Feedback Linearization Slip Control for Anti-lock Braking System

The Anti-lock braking system (ABS) is an active safety device in road vehicles, which during hard braking maximizes the braking force between the tyre and the road irrespective of the road conditions. This is accomplished by regulating the wheel slip around its optimum value. Due to the high non-linearity of the tyre and road interaction, and uncertainties from vehicle dynamics, a standard PID ...

design of a new anti-lock braking system for motorcycles

a new anti-lock braking system (abs) for motorcycles is proposed in this study. it functions by processing the speed of the motorcycle tire in contact with the ground relative to the speed of the motorcycle itself and by calculating the slip ratio (λ) of the tire slipping on the ground while braking, and reducing it to a minimum which leads to increased controllability of the motorcycle and red...
